Brooke Sidney

Research Assistant and Masters Student

Brooke is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Epidemiology at the University of Alberta School of Public Health. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Microbiology in 2021 from the University of Manitoba. She was awarded both the 2020 and 2021 Faculty of Science Undergraduate Student Research Award. She worked in a microbiology and statistics-based lab and due to the pandemic pivoted to computational research. This gave her the opportunity to gain more experience and piqued her interest in epidemiology.
